for years, Al’s Music offer the easiest, most versatile student
instrument rental program available. We make it easy and affordable
for parents to provide their child with a high-quality, educator approved
instrument.

How it Works
STEP 1: Choose
your child's school:
SELECT
AN INSTRUMENT
Either working with your educator or our staff, select the instrument that’s
right for your child.
MAKE INITIAL RENTAL PAYMENT
Sign and return your rental agreement along with your initial rental fee
that covers the first three months.
YOU’RE SET TO GO
Your child will receive their instrument at their school and it is ready
to play.
FREE EXCHANGE
If your child decides to try a different instrument anytime during the rental
period, we exchange their instrument for free.
RENT TO PURCHASE
Your rental payments may be applied to purchasing any new or used instrument.

Your child will be provided an educator-approved, brand name instrument.
• You can rent a band instrument for up to a year.
• 100% of what you have paid in rent may be applied to the purchase
of the instrument that you have been renting or any other new or used
band instrument.
• You may return the instrument at any time.
• You may purchase an instrument at any time throughout the one
year rental contract.
• Instruments may be exchanged for different instruments at any
time throughout the one year rental contract.

• You can rent an orchestra instrument until your child has rented
a full size instrument (4/4 Violin, 15.5” Viola or larger, 4/4 Cello,
3/4 String Bass) for one year or has finished the 7th grade, whichever
comes later.
• 80% of what you have paid in rent may be applied to the purchase
of a new or used orchestra instrument (we do not sell our rental instruments).
• You may return the instrument at any time.
• You may purchase an instrument at any time throughout the rental
contract.
• Instruments may be exchanged for different instruments at any
time throughout the rental contract.
Maintenance and Replacement Coverage (Optional)
We provide as an option, a low cost program to cover your rental instrument
against accidental damage, theft, or loss. If you choose to take advantage
of this popular program, there is no charge for the initial rental period
(the first 3 months). If the instrument is lost, stolen, or destroyed,
we will replace it with an instrument of comparable value at no additional
charge. If the instrument is damaged, we will repair it or replace it
at no additional charge.
• All repairs and adjustments must be made by Al’s Music
• The coverage does not cover malicious or intentional damage.
• The coverage does not include replacement of consumable items
such as reeds, strings, caps, rosin, etc.
• The coverage does not include the removal of minor dents or restoring
the finish of any instrument.
